1. About Us

NJ Home Solutions ("the Company", "we", "us") is a property maintenance and renovation business operating in Glasgow and surrounding areas, with a registered address at 8 Carna Dr, Glasgow, G44 5BB. You may contact us at 07825 625 056.

2. Our Services

We provide property maintenance, repair, and renovation services including but not limited to:

  • Home Improvement
  • Painting & Decorating
  • General Maintenance
  • Plastering
  • Joinery
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical Work

All services are subject to availability and a site assessment may be required before we can confirm the scope of work.

3. Quotations

All quotations provided by NJ Home Solutions are:

  • Free of charge and carry no obligation
  • Valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
  • Based on the scope of work agreed at the time of assessment
  • Subject to revision if the agreed scope of work changes

A quotation does not constitute a contract. A binding agreement is only formed when we confirm acceptance of the work in writing or begin carrying out the agreed work.

4. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the agreed works
  • For larger projects, we may require a deposit prior to commencement
  • We accept payment by bank transfer or cash
  • Invoices not settled within 14 days may be subject to late payment charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998

5. Your Responsibilities

To enable us to carry out our work effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area at agreed times
  • Ensure the property has appropriate utilities (power, water) available unless otherwise agreed
  • Inform us of any hazards, underground services, or structural issues you are aware of
  • Ensure all required permissions (e.g. planning permission, landlord consent) have been obtained before work begins

6. Cancellation & Changes

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by giving us at least 48 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or where materials have already been purchased specifically for your job, may incur a reasonable charge to cover costs already incurred.

Changes to the scope of work after a quotation has been agreed may result in a revised quotation. We will obtain your approval for any additional costs before proceeding.

7. Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. Any defects arising directly from our workmanship (not general wear and tear, misuse, or subsequent works by others) reported within 12 months of completion will be rectified at no additional charge, subject to a reasonable inspection.

Manufacturer warranties on materials and products installed by us are subject to the respective manufacturer's terms and conditions.

8. Liability

We hold public liability insurance. However, we are not liable for:

  • Any pre-existing defects or damage to your property
  • Damage caused by your failure to provide accurate information about the property or the work required
  • Any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, profit, or use of property
  • Damage caused by events outside our reasonable control

Our total liability to you in connection with any contract shall not exceed the total price paid for the services under that contract.

9. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, we ask that you contact us directly in the first instance so we can work to resolve matters quickly and amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the law of Scotland and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

10. Website Use

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Any contract entered into before changes are made will be governed by the Terms in force at the time the contract was formed.
